A photograph of a work that depicts a small white ceramic bird with its wings extended out at its sides and its head slightly lifted as if it is about to take flight from the real pumpkin it is perched on. The ceramic piece is left unglazed and free of any detail except for its own basic form which contrasts with the real-life natural setting of the pumpkins. The pumpkins are atop a reddish wood chipped ground where all has been placed and photographed (in situ).
